Tear gas was accidentally released on a thoroughfare in Central on Wednesday night after a box carrying riot control equipment fell out from a police vehicle and got hit by a passing car.No one was injured in the incident, which happened on Connaught Road near City Hall at about 9.20pm.The box with four tear gas canisters reportedly fell out from a police Emergency Unit van.
