The Regional Transportation District is gathering feedback from the public through Nov. 17 about a potential proposal to temporarily reduce service on buses and trains to deal with an ongoing labor shortage at the transit agency.
Members of the public can provide feedback in various ways.
On Wednesday night, there will be a telephone town hall meeting with the head of RTD, Dave Genova, starting at 6:30 p.m. Those wanting to participate can call 855-543-3425.
The public can also complete a short online survey at RTD’s website or take the survey from RTD staff at select bus and light rail stations Nov. 11 through 14. Comments can also be made through RTD’s social media platforms.
Findings from this process will be presented to RTD’s Board of Directors at a study session Nov. 21. No date has been announced for formal presentation of a plan to the board.
