Ten years after a vehicle was reported stolen in Baltimore City, Baltimore County Police pulled it from the murky waters of a pond in Stansbury Park.
Police received a tip that there may be a vehicle in the pond in Dundalk after it was seen on satellite images. The Baltimore County Police Dive Team responded to the park yesterday and discovered the vehicle, empty, immersed in the pond. After it was pulled from the pond a check of the vehicle identification number revealed that the vehicle, now covered in algae, was a gold 2007 Chevrolet Malibu reported stolen in Baltimore City in 2009. The vehicle has not been linked to any other crimes.
