COF Announces Plans for Local Recreation Athletic Leagues and Sporting Events

The City of Florence announces plans for
Local Recreation Athletic Leagues and Sporting Events.

Athletic League Registration:  Registration is available online, by phone (843-665-3253) or in person at 513 Barnes Street Activity Center Monday - Friday from 8:30 a.m. -5:30 p.m.

• August 1^st
  • Cross- Country for Ages 6 - 18
  • FSA Recreation Soccer for Ages 6 - 13
  • Fall Baseball for Ages 7 - 12
  • Volleyball for Ages 7 - 17

• August 11^th
  • Florence Junior Football League for Ages 7 - 12
  • Cheerleading for Ages 7 - 14

Facility Update:

• Florence Gymnastics Center will re-open for Team practice August 3^rd.
• Pearl Moore Basketball Center will re-open for limited use August 10^th.
• The Florence Tennis Center continues to operate on regular schedule.
• ESAB Soccer Complex is open for local play on August 10^th.

Sports Tourism Tournament Facility Update:

• All events for the Florence Soccer Facility and Florence Tennis Center are cancelled/postponed until September 30^th.
• All tournaments scheduled at Freedom Florence Complex are cancelled for 2020.
• The McLeod for Health Florence Open Pro Tennis Event is cancelled for 2020.
