At about 12:34 AM on Friday, March 12, 2021, officers assigned to District B-2 (Roxbury) made an on-site arrest of Douglas King, 26, and Harold Saunders-Williams, 25, both of Boston, for firearm related offenses in the area of Washington Street and Erie Street in Dorchester.
While on patrol in the area, officers conducted a traffic stop of a motor vehicle whose registration had expired. Officers spoke with the driver; Douglas King and it was revealed through a CJIS query that King’s driver’s license was suspended. As officers requested the driver to exit the motor vehicle, the passenger, Saunders-Williams kept his left arm placed tightly to his body as if he was attempting to conceal something.
Officers conducted a pat-frisk of Saunders-Williams and recovered a loaded 9MM Taurus 709 Slim with one round in the chamber and seven rounds in the magazine. Officers recovered from the motor vehicle, a loaded Glock .40” with one round in the chamber and six rounds in the magazine.
Douglas King and Harold Saunders-Williams were both arrested and charged with the following; Unlawful Possession of a Loaded Firearm, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, Unlawful Possession of Ammunition.
They are both expected to be arraigned in Dorchester District Court.
