On Friday, March 19, 2021, Andrew Johnson, a Boston Police Officer since 2002, was arrested on charges stemming from an incident that occurred in January 2021.

The arrest comes as part of an ongoing investigation with the New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office.

Former Commissioner William Gross placed the officer on Administrative Leave on January 27, 2021 when the department became aware of the investigation.

The BPD anti-corruption unit has been made aware of this arrest and have opened an investigation into the matter.
