At about 2:20 AM on Thursday, June 3, 2021, officers assigned to District B-2 (Roxbury) received information that Decosta Turner, 31, of Roxbury who is being monitored by a court ordered electronic device, violated his court order exclusion zone.

Decosta Turner’s electronic monitoring device was pinged just after 2:00 AM in the area of 8 Oswald Street which is a violation of his probation. Officers were able to locate Turner in the area of 216 Huntington Avenue after a brief foot chase. Turner was arrested and transported to District B-2.  

Original Incident: At about 7:00 PM on Monday May 24, 2021, officers assigned to the BPD Youth Violence Strike Force arrested Decosta Turner, 30, of Roxbury in the area of 13-A McGreevey Way in Roxbury as part of an ongoing investigation which was initiated by officers and detectives assigned to District B-2 (Roxbury). At the time of his arrest, the suspect was wanted on an outstanding warrant sought out of Roxbury District Court on charges of Lewd and Wanton Lascivious Conduct, Criminal Harassment (2 Counts) and Trespassing. The arrest warrant was applied for and granted following several recent complaints, dating back several months, in the Mission Hill area of Roxbury.
