At about 1:19 PM on Thursday July 1, 2021, officers assigned to District D-14 (Brighton) responded to the area of Chestnut Hill Avenue in Brighton where they located an adult male victim suffering from multiple stab wounds. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries. Boston Police have arrested Khaled Awad, 24, of Brighton, who is expected to be arraigned in Brighton District Court on charges of Assault and Battery by Means of a Dangerous Weapon and Assault and Battery on a Police Officer.
