Across the country and within the City of Boston, one of the most dangerous calls any officer can respond to are those involving instances of domestic violence. Over this past weekend, our officers responded to one such call which resulted in two arrests and the safe recovery of a loaded 9mm Israeli Military Industries Desert Eagle.
Thankfully, there were no injuries reported as a result of this incident.
To anyone who may be in a situation involving domestic violence, please know that you are not alone and that no one deserves to be abused. To those in need of help, there are resources available to you. Please reach out if you, or someone you know, is in need of help or safety planning.
In the case of an emergency, CALL 9-1-1.
