Investigation Update: At about 9:30 PM on Friday, August 6, 2021, officers assigned to District D-4 (South End) responded to a call for a person shot in the area of 162 West Concord Street in the South End. On arrival, officers located an adult female victim suffering from a gunshot wound. Boston EMS responded and treated the victim who was pronounced deceased on scene.

This incident remains an active investigation led by the Boston Police Homicide Unit and the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office.  Homicide detectives continue to investigate the circumstances in which the victim was shot. 

Last night, police arrested Derermell Robinson, 23, of Boston and charged him with two counts of Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, Unlawful Possession of Ammunition, and Possession of Class D with Intent to Distribute in connection to this death investigation.
